Dr. Tucker Haltom has been in practice for over 30 years in the Albuquerque. He is recognized by his peers across the nation as one of the foremost practitioners in the country. He has pioneered many finishing techniques and is renowned for his patients with perfect smiles. He has served as President of the following organizations: The College of Diplomates of the American College of Orthodontists, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, the New Mexico Orthodontic Society, and the Albuquerque District Dental Society.
He is a member of the National Angle Society, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Progressive Study Club. Dr. Tucker is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontists and serves this organization as one of its examiners.
Dr. Tucker Haltom and his wife Donna Clauser Haltom also are both native New Mexican’s. Donna grew up in Santa Fe and Tucker in Gallup. They both attended the Univ. of NM where Donna earned her degree in psychology and Tucker in biology. They were married at the beginning of their senior year of college. After graduating they lived in Kansas City for 6 years while Tucker attended dental school and orthodontic school at UMKC. They have two sons, Darren, who you already know about and Steve who is finishing his last year of residency in radiology at UNM. Tucker and Donna enjoy playing golf and water and snow skiing together. Donna is a part time writer (she is the one who writes our newsletter) and Tucker is trying his hand at sculpting. They are enjoying traveling more now that the younger Haltom’s are managing Haltom Orthodontics.
